Details appear sharper, especially in the later, more intricate areas, and the HUD has been streamlined and pushed further to the edges of the screen, allowing for a wider view of the action. And the dark plot (for a Zelda title) culminates in one of the most bittersweet endings you're likely to see in a video game -it's just too bad you have to put up with so much bloat to get there.
